A Final Word
It is our deepest regret to inform you that we simply cannot continue in this mission.
Over 150 local churches and over 50 churches nationally, who were contacted over the last two years, have declined to participate in the ministry of reaching military and veteran warriors. Much like the civilian population, we are just another number — a statistic that is too burdensome to understand and too difficult to reach.
Prisons have better success and look better on paper. At the end of the day, we have realized that if a church did not create the ministry, they usually want no part of it. They say nice things. They say they love veterans. They say, “We will pray for you” — but the works are dead.
We sustained financially for as long as one individual could, at great sacrifice. But much like military service, most people have no idea what it costs, and generally they cannot really care — because they will never truly understand.
Our impact did matter. Hundreds of veterans across the country came through our programs, Bible studies, retreats, platform, small groups, and more — and we were recognized by Governor Ron DeSantis for preventing a veteran from suicide and leading him into a relationship with Jesus instead.
Our work was born out of prayer. Seasons of 21 days of prayer, in fact. And we carried that into our programs, completing multiple seasons of 21 days of prayer together — as one organization, joining virtually.
We have simply had little to no resources for far too long. At this time, we are now a statistic — much like the 22 veterans who take their life every day.
Nevertheless, if we impact just one person for the Kingdom, then it will have all been worth it.
And we did.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
To God be the glory
