WHO WE ARE
Bible Operator is a faith-based organization dedicated to serving Christian military and veteran men. Rooted in biblical principles and military ethos, we unite brothers-in-arms from all branches of the United States military.
MILITARY & VETERAN MEN OF FAITH
We seek to connect military and veteran men who are affirmed believers, from all branches of service, across all churches who align with our statement of faith (Christian Non-Denominational), who profess salvation by grace through faith in Jesus, and who have committed their life to Him alone.
HOW GOD KNEW THEN,
THAT NOW WOULD BE HERE
This is not a biography. This is a trail of evidence. It is the record of a God who was present on a ship in New Amsterdam before America existed — who was present in a revolutionary soldier's boots as he waded through frozen mud to find boats for Washington's crossing of the Delaware — who was present in a Humvee in Ramadi when a piece of a 155mm artillery round passed through a man's body and came out the front of his seat — witnessed, photographed, and physically kept as evidence — and left him alive to tell it — who was present in a hospital room where a ten-day-old boy exhaled for the last time and turned grief into a door.
If just one ancestor in this chain had died at the wrong moment — in the wrong battle, on the wrong ship, on the wrong road — the Founder of Bible Operator would not exist. The ministry would not exist. The veteran in Panama City, Florida who found Jesus on July 11, 2025 instead of ending his life — he would not have found anyone on the other end of that call. This is the story of how God builds a mission. Not in a day. Not in a generation. Across centuries. One life at a time.

THIS IS OUR STORY.
BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN HIS.
Consider the math of it. A German family boards a ship in 1709, leaving the Rhine for a country that does not yet exist. Their descendant helps Washington cross a frozen river to win the war that births that country. Generations carry the bloodline through civil war and world war — the last known soldier a communications man in WWII who survives the war only to die in a house fire on Christmas Eve in Urbana, Ohio, while his grandson is deployed in a combat zone. That grandson was born into foster care in Springfield, Ohio with no name, no lineage, and no knowledge of any of it. His first duty station is the Korean DMZ. He deploys directly from there into the worst corners of Iraq and is blown up more than fifty times without dying. His infant son lives ten days and cracks open what war never could. He surrenders to God at a men's conference in Alabama. He leaves the Army to pursue God — and life falls apart. He is alone, isolated, confused, and desperate. Fully on fire for God and on the verge of ending his life at the same time. David must have felt something like it, fleeing through the wilderness with nothing but a promise and a God who hadn't spoken yet. The breaking point comes behind a church, in the woods, where he gives God an ultimatum: show up, or I give up. And God shows up. He is broke and couch-hopping and writes a prayer vision list on borrowed WiFi. And then, eleven years later, he is part of a ministry that picks up a phone at 12:07 PM on a Thursday afternoon — and the man on the other end is about to end his life, and instead finds Jesus.
God did not build this ministry in 2023. And He did not start in 1686 — that is simply as far back as we can trace the line. The Coolbaugh bloodline runs through the Palatinate region of Germany, through lands once governed by Rome, through ancestral roots whose full depth only God knows. But Scripture is clear: He knew before any of it. "He chose us in him before the foundation of the world." (Ephesians 1:4) He had a plan and a purpose long before the first ship sailed. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10) And the mission — the real mission — did not begin on the Rhine in 1709. It was established on a cross outside Jerusalem in AD 33. Salvation by grace through faith alone. The free gift of a new life and a new identity in Him. Everything since has been the outworking of that plan — one life, one generation, one bloodline at a time — until the day a phone rings, and a warrior finds his way home.
This is Our Story. But it has always been His. Bible Operator exists because God decided it would. In God We Trust.

YEARS OF DOCUMENTED DIVINE PROVIDENCE
The Chain God Built
The documented ancestral line of the Bible Operator founder spans 338 years — from Thomas Colbach arriving in New Amsterdam in 1686 to the founder's birth in 1984. That chain includes six direct ancestors who survived active military service across four centuries of American history.

One Ancestor. One Assignment. The Revolution Survived.
On the night of December 25–26, 1776, William Coolbaugh Jr. — direct ancestor of the Bible Operator founder — was among fewer than 400 men who located and secured the boats Washington needed to cross the Delaware River. Without those boats, there may have been no crossing. Without that crossing, the American experiment was likely lost.

DOCUMENTED IED STRIKES — ZERO LIFE-THREATENING EVACUATIONS
The Impossible Survival — Ramadi & Baghdad, 2004–2007
In 2004–2007 across Ramadi and Baghdad — statistically the most dangerous sectors in Iraq during the entire war — the Bible Operator founder was struck by IEDs more than 50 times. This does not count firefights, RPG fire, or sniper engagements. He stopped counting the IEDs. Not once did he require evacuation for a life-threatening wound. He kept getting back in a new truck and going out again.

WOUNDS — FROM SHRAPNEL THAT PASSED THROUGH HIS OCCUPIED SEAT
Jesus Fire — Witnessed. Photographed. Physically Kept as Evidence.
During an L-shaped ambush in Ramadi, a piece of a 155mm artillery round passed through the occupied seat of a combat Humvee — through the space his chest was occupying — and came out the front. It did not enter his body. The shrapnel was extracted, photographed, and physically kept as evidence. The geometry makes the survival impossible by conventional ballistic physics.

DAYS — GOD'S LITTLE WARRIOR
June 28 – July 8, 2010 — The Crack in the Armor
Grayson was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 — a condition science declares incompatible with extended life. He lived 10 days — and God used every single one of them. He did not survive to defy a statistic. He lived long enough to do something fifty IEDs, hundreds of firefights, and a decade of war could not do: crack open the armor around his father's heart and leave a door for God to walk through. The NICU nurses were astonished. He slipped into the presence of God at 10 days old. His grave bears a bronze lion's head. The miracle isn't that he survived. The miracle is what God did with the time He gave him.

OF VETERANS RECEIVE 100% RATING WITHOUT FILING AN APPEAL
The Vision List Said 'Get a Home.' The VA Said 100%. Without Being Asked Twice.
In March 2016, the founder submitted his VA paperwork for the first time. No appeal. No lawyer. No second filing. The VA issued a full 100% permanent and total disability rating — with backpay — on the first submission. The backpay cleared all debts. The prayer vision list item 'Get a home' was checked off by the federal government — which everyone knows is a miracle.

Prayed Over in January. Sold in 7 Hours in June. For Nearly $30,000 Over the Prayed Amount.
In January 2022, he prayed over a specific asking price — months before listing. Three separate realtors said it was not achievable. He told the one who agreed to list it for 10 days at his price. The house sold in 7 hours. For nearly $30,000 above the prayed-for amount. Each time, God did more than was asked.

VETERANS LOST TO SUICIDE EVERY DAY IN AMERICA
12:07 PM. One Call. Warrior to Warrior. An Eternal Outcome.
July 11, 2025. 12:07 PM CST. An Army veteran called in extreme crisis — declared intent to end his life. Commander Wesley N. Carey, 13-year Special Forces veteran, held the line for over two hours. At 2:50 PM CST, the veteran renounced his intent and professed faith in Jesus Christ — weeping openly: 'These are happy tears.' Governor DeSantis sent a formal letter of commendation.

THE COMBINED PROBABILITY OF JUST THESE 7 THINGS HAPPENING BY CHANCE
"At some point, the evidence stops being coincidence. The math demands a different explanation."
HIS NAME IS JESUS. AND HE KNEW YOUR NAME BEFORE ANY OF THIS BEGAN.
"He chose us in him before the foundation of the world." — Ephesians 1:4
SEVEN EVENTS. ONE MAN.
ONE LIFETIME.
The math says it couldn't happen. The evidence says it did. The only variable left that explains it — is God.

The Stars
There are an estimated 200 billion trillion stars in the observable universe — every galaxy, every solar system, every burning point of light across 13.8 billion light years of space. If you marked one star red and asked someone to find it blindfolded, their odds would be 60 million times better than the odds of these seven events happening together by chance.
Every Coin Ever Flipped
If every human being who has ever lived — all 108 billion of them — had flipped a coin every single second from the moment of the Big Bang until right now, the total number of flips still wouldn't be enough trials to make this probable. Not even close. They'd still be 259 times short.
The Story
Imagine you are standing on a beach. Every beach on Earth — Atlantic, Pacific, Arctic, every grain of sand at the bottom of every ocean floor — has been gathered into one pile. Scientists estimate there are 7.5 quintillion grains. Someone takes one grain, paints it red, and drops it back in. The pile is shuffled. You are blindfolded.
You reach in once and pull out the red grain.
The crowd goes silent. It's impossible. But it happened.
Now someone says: do it again. Same pile. Reshuffled. Blindfolded. One try. You pull out the red grain again. Again. You pull it out again.
You do this — blindfolded, first try, every time — 1.6 trillion times in a row.
That sequence of draws is still more likely than these seven events happening together to one man, in one lifetime, by chance.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
The core biblical truths that guide everything we do.
Holy Bible
The Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible, and inerrant.
II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26
Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.
I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was both fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, was born of a virgin, performed miracles, died on the cross to atone for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.
John 1:1,14; John 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5
Virgin Birth
Jesus Christ was conceived by God the Father, through the Holy Spirit, in the virgin Mary's womb; therefore, He is the Son of God.
Matthew 1:18, 25; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:27-35
Redemption
Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression fell. His only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21
Regeneration
For anyone to know God, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
John 6:44, 65; Matthew 19:28; Titus 3:5
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or any human efforts.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22
Repentance
Repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ. Through repentance, we receive forgiveness of sins and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:21, 3:19; I John 1:9
Sanctification
Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God's Word and His Spirit to develop Christ's character in us. It is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that Christians are enabled to live a godly life.
I Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; II Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18; II Thessalonians 2:1-3; Romans 8:29, 12:1-2; Hebrews 2:11
Jesus' Blood
The blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross was sinless and is 100% sufficient to cleanse mankind of all sin. Jesus' sacrifice frees all believers from the penalty of sin, which is death.
I John 1:7; Revelation 1:5, 5:9; Colossians 1:20; Romans 3:10-12, 23, 5:9; John 1:29
Jesus Christ Indwells All Believers
Christians are those who have invited the Lord Jesus Christ to live inside them by His Holy Spirit. They surrender their lives to Him, making Jesus their Lord and Savior.
John 1:12; John 14:17, 23; John 15:4; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Given at Pentecost, the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel.
Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit manifests through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, validate the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. All believers are encouraged to seek these gifts.
Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11, 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:16; I Timothy 4:14; II Timothy 1:6-7; I Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; I Peter 4:10
The Church
The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, and has a divine mandate to fulfill Jesus' Great Commission. Every believer is an integral part of the church.
Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23
Sacraments
Water Baptism: Believers are commanded to be baptized in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38). The Lord's Supper: A time of communion remembering Jesus' sacrifice using bread and grape juice (Matthew 26:26-29; I Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25). Marriage: A covenant between one man and one woman, instituted by and entered before God.
Matthew 19:4-6
Healing of the Sick
Healing is a part of Jesus' ministry and is included in His commission to His disciples. It is a sign that follows believers and is part of Jesus' work on the cross.
Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 8:6-7; James 5:14-16; I Corinthians 12:9, 28; Romans 11:29
God's Will for Provision
It is God's will for believers to be whole, healthy, and successful in all areas of life. While not all believers receive the full benefits of God's will on Earth, all are encouraged to seek them to better serve others.
Spiritual: John 3:3-11; II Corinthians 5:17-21 · Mental: II Timothy 1:7; Philippians 4:7-8 · Physical: Isaiah 53:4-5; I Peter 2:24 · Financial: Joshua 1:8; Malachi 3:10-11; Philippians 4:19
Resurrection
Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead three days after His death. Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; the saved to eternal life and the lost to eternal damnation.
Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19-21, 20:26-28, 21:4; Acts 24:15; I Corinthians 15:42, 44; Philippians 1:21-23, 3:21
Heaven
Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; II Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; I Peter 1:4
Hell
After living one life on Earth, unbelievers will be judged by God and sent to Hell, where they will be eternally tormented with the Devil and the fallen angels.
Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8
Second Coming
Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to Earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures.
